Bye Bye Snow !!

   My State is sometimes snow in winter. Now and then the snow stopped falling.

   I went to walk around my neighborhood yesterday.

   I also walked around the lake behind the house.Not only I did see a fish lay on its side, apparently dead but also there was an upside down big frog near the fish on the frozen lake's surface. Live frogs don't hibernate upside down so what you think, maybe it was dead. When I checked them again in the morning, the fish was gone so it was not dead but clearly not doing well but the frog still there.

   Water in the lake became frozen when the weather got colder. It's melt by the sunlight now.The snow is melting but it's taking its time!

   Teal flock landed on lake and slept through the night.

   It was a really nice spot for watching teal flock slept on a frozen lake when sunset.

   Luckily, we have not yet lost power even though it has snowed all day and through the night. So, we plan to have breakfast at Furr's in the morning, after that we will go to buy food at Crest.

   My husband cleared off the driveway as usual.

   When the snow is still fresh and clean. Kids go outside and build their best Snowman. Of course they also go sledding and snowball fights. Building a Snowman is so much fun.

   After Snow was removed, the street is in good condition and safety to drive.

   The tow-truck got stuck in front of the house next door after he help unstuck my neighbor's car last night.

   It looks pretty with fresh snow on the ground.

Spring is coming.

Thinks young, pass it on

At first, I thought I should start first topic about “How to read English” for my Thai friends. Umm!!! I changed my mind. Valentine’s Day is coming. Maybe, it will be better if I just write as I feel. I got the story from an email sent by my friend a few years ago. Hopefully the story will be inspiring you to do something with the one you love.

       10th Grade, As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called "best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.



11th Grade, The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broke her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep. She looked at me, said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.



Senior year, The day before prom she walked to my locker. My date is sick" she said; he's not going to go well, I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as "best friends". So we did. Prom night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step. I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I want her to be mine, but she doesn’t think of me like that, and I know it. Then she said "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.



Graduation Day, A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, "You’re my best friend, thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.



A Few Years Later, Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl is getting married now. I watched her say "I do" and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said "you came!” She said "thanks" and kissed me on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.



Funeral Years passed; I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my "best friend". At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read: I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me! `I wish I did too...` I thought to myself, and I cried.



เริ่มเรื่องแรก ของการอ่าน ด้วยเรื่องน่ารัก ๆ กันดีกว่าเนอะ ตอนแรกว่าจะว่าด้วยหลักการ เกี่ยวกับการอ่าน ไม่เอาดีกว่า ไว้วันหน้า ป้ามาเล่าให้ฟัง อิอิ ไม่ใช่อะไร ป้าลงเรียนออนไลน์ไว้ พึ่งเริ่มไปได้บทเดียว ยังเอามาเขียนให้แฟนๆอ่านไม่ได้นั่นเอง ป้าว่าไม่ต้องอะไรมาก สไตล์ป้านะ อะไรก็ได้เห็นก็อ่านไปเถอะ เอ้อ..อ่านออกเสียงด้วยนะ ผิดถูกไม่เป็นไร ฝึกๆไปเดี๋ยวดีเอง นี่ก็ใกล้วันแห่งความรักแล้ว ทำให้ป้านึกถึงเมล์เก่าๆที่เพื่อนส่งมาให้ เรื่องไหนที่ป้าชอบป้าก็จะเก็บเอาไว้ วันนี้ป้าเลยเอาเมล์ที่เพื่อนส่งมาให้ นานแล้วหละ มาอ่าน อ่านแล้วหัวใจเต้นดิ๊บๆ อมยิ้มเล็ก อมยิ้มใหญ่ ไปตามๆ แล้วก็เลยนึกถึงโฆษณาทางทีวี เจ้าหนึ่ง ที่คนแก่ฉลองวันเกิด 90 ปี แต่อารมณ์ดีกลับหัวเลข9 ที่วางอยู่บนเค็กวันเกิดเป็นเลข6 แทน ป้าเลยเอามาตั้งหัวเรื่องซะเลย มามะลองอ่านดู จะได้มีความสุขไปด้วยกัน เห็นมะเรื่องเขาน่ารักอะนะ อยากขับ Time machine ย้อนกลับไปเป็นวัยรุ่นจริงๆ

Greeting

I am trying to write English in a theme of education for English beginner for Thais.  So do not surprise if some foreign characters appear on this page.  I am struggling with English as of today and understand the difficulty because English is not my native language.  I am not trying to teach English because I am not an expert and I am learning new stuff everyday.  I am never too old to learn and I think an old dog like me can learn new tricks. I can provide a small tidbit of what I know.  If I made mistake please do not hesitate, I’d like to hear from you.                .

ป้าขึ้นเมนูไว้เป็น English แต่ความเป็นจริง คือ English as a Second Language นะ เรียกง่ายๆ ว่า ESL แปลง่ายๆของป้าว่า อังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่สอง ..อึมตรงตัวและได้ใจความเลยเนอะ เพราะเราคงคุยกันเป็นภาษาไทยอันดับแรก และ แทรกความรู้ด้วยภาษาอังกฤษ เป็นภาษาที่สอง ฮะฮ้า ป้าก็ลื่นของป้าไปได้ ป้าว่าจะคุยกันไปเรื่อยๆ ตามหัวข้อที่แยกไว้เป็นเมนูย่อยนะ กันหลงป่านะ จัดๆเรียงๆให้เป็นหมวดหมู่ เพื่อจะได้หาง่ายและคุยเรื่องเดียวกันได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง หน้าแรกนี้ ป้าจะหาเว็ปที่เขาสอนภาษาอังกฤษฟรีๆ มาแปะไว้ ใครสนใจเรื่องไหนก็คลิ๊กลิ้งค์ไปเลย เข้าไปแล้วพบเจออะไร ก็มาเล่าสู่กันฟังนะ ป้าชอบมีคนมาคุยด้วย คุยคนเดียวมันเหงาจริงๆ แรกๆก็มีน้อยหน่อยนะ ต่อไปป้าก็จะหามาอัฟ เพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ หรือใครเจอะเจออะไรที่เห็นว่าใช่เลย อย่าลืมมาแนะนำ แบ่งปันๆความรุ้กันเนอะ ทำดีไม่ต้องอายจ๊ะ อีกอย่าง ต้องขอบคุณอากู๋ (Google) และ เจ้ยาฮู (Yahoo) รวมทั้งน้องอื่น ที่เป็นเว็ปบริการค้นหาข้อมูล ที่ช่วยให้ป้าค้นหาข้อมูลได้ดังใจ เพิ่มน้ำอีกนิดก่อนเข้าเนื้อ เว็ปส่วนใหญ่ที่เจอมา หรือเรื่องที่คุยกันเน้นเป็นAmerican English นะ เดี๋ยวจะงง ปนเปกับBritish English ไม่ใช่ใครหรอก ก็ป้านั่นเอง เลยเขียนเตือนไว้ก่อนนะจ๊ะ เริ่มจากเว็ปที่ป้าใช้ประจำก่อนละกันแบบง่ายๆ ตามมาเลยจ๊ะ
